Battlestar Galactica,
is an old sci-fi show
featuring the escape of the last remnants of humankind in a fleet of
spacecrafts, pursued by machine enemies, the cylons. The human fleet is
protected by the Battlestar Galactica, hence the title of the whole thing.

I spotted a flag in what was supposed to be
the captain's office or quarters: plain beige with some brown logo within.
The colour combination was similar to that of the fighter pilots' helmets
(see here ), except that the
logo was darker and the background lighter.
The flag was folded, so I cannot know what the logo looked like. Could be a
version of this helmet bird logo, but I kinda doubt that. Could be
something in the lines of the chakra-like logo that can be seen
here. Could be something else altogether.

Strike that. Accidentally I saw again the same scene while zapping (they
repeat stuff a lot in that channel, but it was quite a coincidence anyway),
and took a better look this time. The bottom part of the folded logo in the
flag could be, indeed, consistent with one or two of the triangles in this image, but the top portion of it isn't consistent with anything in
that image: there are no triangles there, only two narrow straight lines,
similar to those that are to be found in the logo of the whole show.
Perhaps that's a flag containing the Galactica logo? That's a possibility.
Wouldn't make much sense in fictional terms, confusing a real-life
graphical element (the logo of a TV show) with a fictional one (the symbol
of a fictional spaceship, or of a fictional military corps), but it's possible.
As an aside, the logo that appears in the image I posted wasn't made up by
the Chaz fellow: it's used in the uniforms of fighter pilots as an arm
insignia, more or less in that same colour combination.
